NGN Forms New Tech Team!
We share your high expectations for innovativeness and quality of our digital solutions. Conceiving new ideas, implementing them conscientiously and – together with you – generating business success are challenges we continually take on ourselves. That is why we have expanded our IT department, reorganizing it to create a “product innovation team”, which David Plewa will head. We are also glad that Andreas Kohsiek has accepted the position as new IT director. He has extensive experience in managing large-scale IT projects. At his former company, Torex Retail Solutions, Andreas Kohsiek was responsible for over 60 customers and a 20-member team. In addition, we have created a new area “quality management”, with an extra team headed by Steffen Buchmann.

NGN Celebrates 10-Year Success Story with New Branch in Nuremberg
Ten years after the founding of NGN – New Generation Network, the company is opening a new branch in Nuremberg, Germany. In addition to headquarters in Berlin and a U.S. branch in Portland, Maine, the Nuremberg branch will be NGN’s third location. “NGN has grown rapidly – last year we tripled our staff. Launching a new location is an important strategic step for us,” says Robert Drblik, who along with Christoph Krüger is Managing Director of NGN. “NGN’s cooperation with NürnbergMesse was the primary impetus for deciding to start a new branch in Nuremberg,” he adds. “We will be much closer to what is going on at Nuremberg tradeshows and can react more flexibly and quickly to the specific requests and requirements of NürnbergMesse.” The offices of NGN in Nuremberg have been equipped with state-of-the-art call center technology, enabling our multilingual customer service team to directly serve exhibitors from all over the world at NürnbergMesse tradeshows. In the name of NürnbergMesse, NGN compiles detailed product and company information and edits and formats this content in the NGN product and exhibitor database. Using the “ask” platform, this information is then seamlessly integrated into the designated tradeshow portal. Now, following NGN’s successful support for the “HOLZ-HANDWERK” tradeshow, the Nuremberg team is enthusiastically preparing the “Chillventa” tradeshow for NürnbergMesse.

Online User Analysis Yields Important Results
Increasingly, professional buyers use the Internet to gather detailed information about products and suppliers. With NGN’s Web Statistics Tool, user behavior at the NGN portal can be easily analyzed in complete detail. It answers such questions as: How many users does the portal have? Which pages generate the most interest? Which search words were entered most frequently, and which buyer was interested in which products and when? Even in this field we have strengthened our capacity. Starting in fall 2008, our customers can opt for a detailed report and evaluation, along with recommendations for action.
